Range Extender Variant uses a 647cc Petrol V-Twin engine from BMW's Motorcycle Division as a generator to recharge the I3's Batteries while the vehicle is in motion and only activates once the charge is low.

This Being the Facelift 2018 94Ah model, it has an increased range over previous I3 Models, Now with a range of 290Km as opposed to the previous 240Km (Range Extender Model*)
